Currently Craving: June Jewels

The best months for buying new things has to be the summer! I love seeing all of the fun and bright trends and there's even some great summer sales always going on; Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale in just a few short weeks! ; ) I gravitate toward all of the bright things in the summer time and of course, things like summer beauty products and fun pool floats. It's been hard to narrow down my favorites from this month, but after a lot of back and forth I definitely found my favorites. I think the best part of the start of summer is the endless pool days, baseball games and nothing but summer fun (and shopping, duh). Here are my favorites for this first summer month:

Inside the June Must Have Box from POPSUGAR

It's officially summer and June is almost over - and the June Pop Sugar Must Haves Box is SO on point and perfect for this month, I'm so freakin' excited about it! As I opened my box when I first got it I kept gasping in excitement because all of the fun goodies they included are so perfect for summer; they're so different and definitely things you wouldn't think of getting, but everything you need!
If you've never heard of the Pop Sugar Must Haves boxes, you need to get on that and try one out for yourself - you will NOT regret it! These boxes are subscription based boxes that are filled with fun fashion, fitness, beauty and food products that you'll be obsessed with! This is my first Pop Sugar box and out of all of the subscription boxes I've tried, this has been my favorite by far. The items each month change and they're all full sized products - none of that mini sample craziness that you pay to try! Maintaining a beauty routine that works for you in the summer is likely pretty different than it is in the winter and finding something that works for you and makes you feel beautiful at the same time is important. Summer Beauty Product Must Haves

While some products are perfect for year round weather conditions, it's also smart and only normal to switch things out most especially for the warmer months of summer. Even the hottest of days sometimes still require makeup or moisturizing to feel clean and fresh. Super creamy or heavy products in the summer leave tons of room for disaster because with the heat and ridiculous humidity, a greasy face with heavy products and melting mascara is inevitable. I love trying new products and seeing what works best for me, and I know it's a never ending process because there's always new things to try and the ability to find something you like even more! While trying new products is fun, repeat products are the best - and I've found my favorites that not only help maintain glowing skin all summer long but also help your skin and face feeling airy, fresh and anything but droopy.

Get Ready, Get Obsessed: Pineapples Are Everywhere!

Out of all the trends there are lately, pineapples have to be my favorite! I'm beyond obsessed - my mom laughs at me every time I come home with a new pineapple something...or the best is when an order comes in the mail and it's all pineapple everything! ; ) They're just so cute and who wouldn't love something that stands tall with a crown? I've been fueling my obsession for a month or so now and just recently, the pineapple decor, clothing, etc. started popping up more and more everywhere I go. From cute tees to pool floats, I seem to be able to find them everywhere and I'm so not complaining!

Little black dresses are usually my go to (and I think everyone can agree with that) for special occasions but I love finding fun colored and patterned dresses in the summer and especially for weddings! 5 Ways to Get Your Patio Summer Ready

Happy first day of Summer 2016!!! Summer officially starts today (!!!) and along with the fun that comes with summer, the hard work comes too. This past Saturday we spent the entire day working outside. It was hot, my feet were burning by bed time and I was not a happy camper, but man was it worth it! From 10 AM to 7 PM, it was work work work and after a long winter, the patio(s) definitely need it. We are actually pretty lucky with a mild winter so it could have been worse, but when you have lots of space to get ready for summer entertaining, it takes a load of work.

When it comes to clothes, I'm usually pretty opened to shopping places and looking for pieces I love regardless of the store. I'm in mucho need of a vacay so doing my research has been my way of getting me through the months to (almost) this very moment. A bucket list is a list someone will put together, either written or in their minds. They will be of achievements and experiences they want to do at some stage in their lives.
