NYE Outfit Inspiration

New Years Eve is one of my favorite holidays to dress for because I love sequins and I love velvet and both are the perfect picks for NYE! While I love dressing up and going out, I also love staying in and wearing comfy clothes just as much. Whether you have a fancy party to go to, just love sparkles or are staying in; I got you covered. ;) Here's my 7 favorite looks for NYE:

This. Dress. I can't even take how pretty it is! It comes in pink too and it has such a fun criss-cross back. It's pretty busy, so I love deep red/burgundy tones with it (like this gorgeous clutch bag) and simple jewelry.

The only thing better than sequins is sequins with tulle! And the bell sleeved top comes in a few colors, but in person this one is more of a cream/off white shade so it looks so pretty with the skirt!

When I found this top at Zara in the city a few weeks ago I could not resist getting it. I love everything about it *and* it's comfortable to wear and not annoying like some asymmetric shirts like this can be. It's simple but shimmery and it's currently on sale for $35! Since it's pretty simple, I love it with nice black pants and a fun heel like these pretties! And no color goes better with black and glitter than hot pink; this Tory Burch clutch is a newer Tory item and it comes in a few colors... The best part is it's under $200!

I mean this cozy outfit is making me lazy just thinking about it! I bought a ton of these super cozy pants on Black Friday and let me tell you, you need them in your life. There's a ton of fun colors/patterns and they're possibly the softest pants I own! And if you're staying in on New Years Eve, you *need* a cozy blanket - no questions asked!

This skirt is another fun Zara find and it comes in a pretty gold/pale pink too! I love it with fairly simple jewelry (this jeweled necklace does the job!) and these Steve Madden block heels may just be the most comfortable pair of heels in the world. I originally bought them in the tan/cognac shade and I most recently added these black ones to my closet because they're super practical and super cute.

Another super comfy look - I just love this sweatshirt! It's hysterical and it's really cozy to wear! These fun leggings come in a ton of colors and they're so practical - I buy a new color whenever they go on sale!

You may notice this look from my holiday outfit inspiration post I put up a few weeks ago. It's so good that I HAD to repeat it for NYE looks! It's still one of my favorites and it's probably my favorite. The sequin top has the prettiest velvet bows in the back and it's super flattering. And my favorite black heels are on sale, so grab them while you can!

What are your NYE plans? Whether you're going out or staying in, you can still look festive and have fun! Staying in for NYE is actually one of my favorite things to do. I love watching the ball drop on TV! You couldn't pay me enough to go to the city on New Years Eve - I always used to want to (especially since I live so close) but as I get older the more I realize how miserable that would be; especially since it's almost always freezing!
