Thank you to Olay for sponsoring today's post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are solely my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support me!
When I first started being more serious about skincare and began to use skincare products daily as a teenager, Olay was one of those brands that my mom always helped me pick out. Like I mentioned on Instagram Stories the other day (@dailydoseofdesign) the other day, it's one of those brands that you can count on to always be reliable and you know that the products will work wonders on your skin! You guys are well aware that I'm always looking for the very best skincare products to take care of all skin types and for all times of the year. There's nothing more important (beauty-wise) than taking great care of your skin and that starts with the right skincare regimen for you. I think the coolest part about Olay is that they're incredibly innovative; every time you go to your local Walmart or where you buy your Olay products, you likely notice that there's new things to try. They keep up with the trends and go far beyond them, too. I'm so excited to be a part of the new Olay 28 Day Skin Study that helps you find your very own products from their various lines to have THE best skin ever!

Why is it that traveling can almost never go EXACTLY as planned? I’ve talked a bit before about the awful headaches I often get, and how many different things I’ve tried to help, but traveling can be stressful and exhausting and I almost always end up having a bad headache when I’m traveling. Since one awful headache in particular last year while at the airport, I put together one of the easiest DIY travel bags that has everything you need to save the day, including when that awful headache hits. Here's what's inside:
So many of us love to travel and wish we got to take more trips, more often. While it may sometimes seem far out of reach, it really doesn't have to be. Traveling can be costly, but finding the way to fund trips doesn't have to be as difficult as it seems! I've saved a ton of money to be able to travel and I've found some surefire ways to make your savings for traveling grow endlessly. When I graduated college I knew I wanted to start traveling and I knew I needed to find some creative ways to get there. If you come up with some innovative ways to save, you'll be on a plane in no time. ;) There's no better experience than to travel this beautiful world, so the more you make it a priority to cross things off of your travel bucket list, the more you'll get to experience incredible things that are truly priceless. Here's some ways I've been working hard to save money for my travel fund:
I love getting dressed up as much as the next girl, but in all honesty - 9 days out of 10 during the warmer months I'm in a comfy tee and cropped jeans or shorts! There's a definite market these days for athleisure wear and who could blame us girls who love being comfy (while still looking cute and put together) for wanting all of the cute, comfy looks? Graphic tees are the best because there's all different fits and shapes and I can never get enough of the fun sayings a lot of tees have. Here's some of my current favorite graphic tees:
Thank you to Palmer’s® Coconut Oil Formula for sponsoring today's post!
The weather has been absolutely incredible for the past week and I'm so excited for the warmer months! I talk a LOT about skincare with you guys because taking care of your skin is so important to me and something I always focus on so much. I try endless amounts of products and try to always have a great skincare routine for any type of weather, during any season and to be able to remedy any skin problems that come my way. And let's be honest, it isn't always easy! For the past week I've been participating in the Palmer's 7 Days to a More Luminous You challenge. It's no secret that I love coconut oil and all of the amazing things you can do with it so I was extremely excited to see what the Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula products could do for my skin!
This challenge isn't only good for your skin, it's great all around in terms of health benefits. I've seen a huge difference in my skins appearance and I had no doubt that I would! It's no surprise that it's one of the many ways to have gorgeous, glowing skin for the spring and summer months.
One of the most stressful things is to have an overwhelming to-do list that's longer than you have enough hours in a day for! I know the satisfaction of getting things done and crossing things off of your list is gratifying but it's also stressful and let's be real, being stressed causes Netflix binges and results in not a thing getting crossed off your list. Being able to get things done and manage your time is a true gift, and if you can do it without a to-do list I need to take a lesson from ya! ;) Here's some simple ways I've been making my daily lists more manageable:
One of the most rewarding feelings as a blogger is when you get to collaborate with a brand that you really love, truly believe in and honestly want to share with your readers. Being able to send a pitch to a brand that's eye catching and irresistible is always #1, creating a positive relationship is even more important, and being able to send a follow up email is right up there as well. A follow up is simply sending a second email after sending a pitch to a brand you'd like to work with. Is it nerve wracking? Absolutely! Is it worth it? Almost ALWAYS. I've been spending more and more time pitching brands on my own lately, and seeing that hard work paying off is truly the best feeling. Being able to follow up with a brand can sometimes be the difference in whether you land a collaboration or not. There's a ton of information out there on how to pitch a brand; including about 9,000 different opinions on the right way to do it. That being said, there isn't all that much information on what you should do or say in a follow up email. Since these are crucial steps, I'm sharing my best tips for putting together a follow up email to a brand. Land that collaboration and see your hard work pay off - here's some foolproof ways to get there:
There is no better feeling than applying a face mask after a long day/week, am I right?! I try and do a mask one or two times a week because the stress of a week can really get overwhelming, or if my face needs some TLC it's the best way to detox your skin. I love to try all different masks but is there really any better feeling than ordering something and having it to your door in the next two days? Ha! Something else that Amazon excels at is having an insanely awesome beauty department, and I rounded up 10 of my favorite masks you can grab with Amazon Prime to get your face feeling fresh and clean in a matter of hours:
Spring is finally springing and making a full on appearance around here! I'm loving the sunshine and warmer temperatures, and my feet are loving it too! ;) After getting that first pedicure of the season, there's nothing better than rocking a new pair of fun, springy shoes. I've been seeing lots of fun colors and styles this season but these five are out in full force and are definitely pairs you need to pair with all of your outfits this season:
