The 2017 Swimsuit Guide: Swim Under $200

With the weather heating up, I'm all about getting beach and pool ready! The sangria and pizza may be telling me otherwise, but I AM working on that beach bod! ;) If there's one kind of shopping that I know a lot of women hate, it's bathing suit shopping. I love cute suits but hate all the insecurities, and love getting cute summery swimwear but the price tags are usually much less than favorable. It's a love-hate relationship, but it doesn't have to be all bad! I try to have a positive outlook on bathing suit shopping, so to do so (for us ALL!) I put together a great guide of swimwear for everyone - one pieces (without looking old and frumpy), bikinis, tankinis - the whole nine yards. The other best part? All of these picks are under $200! Good quality bathing suits don't always come cheap, but you can get quality pieces that are still in-budget. Whatever you're looking for, I got you covered! ;)

1. Periwinkle Lace One Piece: this is THE color of the season! I can't get over the pretty lace, it's so dainty and pretty!

2. Watercolor Pineapple Bikini: I mean can you really go wrong with watercolor AND pineapples? In love!

3. Striped High-waisted Bikini: this is a great style for all body types - super flattering and different than your usual bikini.

4. Navy Scallop One-piece: The classiness that is this one piece gets me every time I look at it!

5. Pink Gingham One Piece: my favorite part about this suit is the adorable puff sleeves! Gingham is IN this season and this color pink looks amazing on everyone!

6. Colorblock Bikini: I love the colors of this suit and the top is so great for all chest sizes which is a huge win! Some suits are so hard to buy based on your chest size but this one is great for everyone and such a great price.

7. Floral Lace-up One Piece: the lace-up detail is amazing but can we talk about the floral print?! It's stunning and makes the style super flattering.

8. Palm Print Bikini: another print that's SO perfect and SO popular this season!

9. Black and White Tankini: I love tankinis! They don't have to be old-looking; this style is great for, again, all body types. I can't wear many strapless things (if ya know what I mean! ;), especially bathing suits, but when they're in tankini-form it makes it *so* much easier! I love the style of this one and it's super comfortable and not annoying in the least!

10. Cobalt Halter One Piece: this color. That is all. *insert heart eye emoji here*

11. Floral Embroidery One Piece: if you look closely at this on the site, the floral print is embroidery and it's so stunning!

12. Coral Halter Top Bikini: simple but classy and oh so pretty with a sun kissed tan!

Best stores for Bathing Suits:

Old Navy: the cutest suits that you can get under $10-12! The Old Navy bathing suit collection is constantly changing and constantly on sale; making mix and matching different combinations has never been easier!

Nordstrom: if you want a variety of price points, this is the best place to shop! Hundreds of styles, patterns, prices - it's kind of hard to not find a cute suit here! It's a given, but so many of my picks this season (and always!) are from Nordstrom.

Shopbop: these suits are mostly on the higher end of a middle price point, but the brands/quality are top notch. If you're looking for bathing suits you haven't seen before/that are unique, this is your one stop shop!

American Eagle: very affordable, trendy and a variety of styled bathing suits! Some of my favorites come from AE/Aerie and my favorite part about them is how great the brand is prioritizing how every body is beautiful.

Macy's: similar to American Eagle, there's so many different bathing suits available at a huge department store like Macy's! I find a lot of my bathing suits here - it's hard to go wrong!

J.Crew: when it comes to looking for something unique, classy and understated - seriously, look no further!

Target: from the mix and match options to the BOGO 50% deals nearly 24/7 to the hundreds of styles they have each season, it's hard to not call Target your one stop shop for everything - and bathing suits. ;) I love the Target suits and again, they have so many sizes and styles for all body types!
