4th of July Outfit Ideas

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! I love the fireworks, hanging out by the pool, BBQ (of course food makes my list) and of course the patriotic gear we all love to sport! There's always so many fun Americana picks this time of year and they're great for all summer (and year!) long. I found some of my favorite pieces at various price points to shop this weekend; because I know we'll all be out shopping the great sales going on this weekend and finding fun pieces to wear this Independence Day! Here's my favorites:

1. 'Stars Stripes Stilettos' Tee: I have never been in love with a t-shirt as much as this one! It's so freakin' cute and a little pricier than I usually prefer to spend on tees, but we all need this one! ;)

2. Red Ray Bans: I love Ray Bans, and I LOVE this shade of red - but when I saw they were foldable I sort of fell in love (space saver!) AND due to the fact that they reminded me of the 3D spectacles that Ben found and used to read the map in National Treasure, LOL! I hope I'm not the only one! I do love them though and they're a great patriotic outfit accessory, but also for year round.

3. Americana Baseball Cap: this would be great to wear near at the beach and by the pool - another Americana piece you can rock all summer long!

4. White Converse: if you've been around here for a while, you know my love for these! If not, I LOVE THESE! I rave about them constantly because they're my very favorite - I wear them year round and I just love them with almost every outfit.

5. Gingham One Shoulder Top: the gingham obsession this season is SO REAL. I cannot get enough - J. Crew is usually my go-to for all things gingham perfection, so I was so excited when I found that other stores were catching on! ;) It's super flattering for all body types and the elastic top makes the one-shoulder style comfortable and not annoying on your under arm.

6. Pearl Necklace: this would be so cute to wear with said gingham top or any fun red/white/blue attire for the 4th! Another piece you'll get so much use out of, and my favorite part about this necklace is that the pearls aren't stark white or tacky looking; it's classy and dainty while still making a statement.

7. Watercolor Americana Bathing Suit: one pieces are making a huge comeback - some people hate 'em, some people love 'em... I LOVE them! I think they can be so flattering and the styles that have been trending are adorable! Bathing suits can be pricey - especially one pieces - but this one is just under $40!

STYLE TIP: throw on a pair of denim shorts and double this suit as a top - the halter style makes it look like a cute tank! In love!!

8. Americana Ice Pop Pool Float: my love for pool floats available on Amazon is no secret! I can't wait to float on this cutie on Tuesday!

9. USA Pullover: this is by FAR my favorite brand for hoodies and pullovers; the level of softness is indescribable! They're a bit pricier but they last forever, are made of great quality and can be styled so many different ways. It may seem silly to include a sweatshirt in the summer, but I always find myself wanting something to keep my arms warm during fireworks at night. It's something you'll wear all year round too - I got this in last week and I've worn it twice already - it's worth the splurge!

10. Patriotic Lace-Up Wedges: the red and blue detailing on these wedges sold me! I love the lace-up style and you wouldn't believe how comfortable all of their wedges are!

11. Blue Ombre Tassel Earrings: does it get much cuter? I think not! I love ombre anything and with my sensitive ears, it's hard to wear heavy statement earrings but these are lighter than you'd think.

12. American Flag Kimono: this would be a great cover-up or over a simple white tank top! It's under $20 and another one of those patriotic pieces you can rock all summer long.

13. Starry Sweater Tank: picture this with a cute white pair of shorts and those red Ray Bans we talked about earlier! L O V E

14. Navy Striped Block Heels: block heels win the shoe game, end of story. These are 40% off right now making them under $200!

15. YSL #11 Lip Stain: this is my very favorite shade of red - it's bright but not over powering and lip stains are the way to go in the summer! The YSL stains are pricier for a lippie at $36/each but for good reason - they last ALL day long and the best part, they don't make your lips feel sticky. BLESS THE LORD.

16. Chambray Tassel Dress: I've been eyeing this dress for a while (since picking my Memorial Day favs!) and now I'm realizing how perfect it is for the 4th of July! If it has tassels on it, it's pretty much a win in my book!
