Budget Buys: Summer Trends Under $50

We can unofficially consider it summer now, right?!? ;) All of the summer trends we're seeing so far this season are extremely fun patterns and prints - some predictable and repeated (but never get old!) and some new and unexpected. It's always interesting to see what's making the cut and what stores are selling out of on a weekly basis! My favorite trends for the summertime right now are bows/pom poms, lemon, flamingo, cactus and pineapple prints and a classy palm leaf/tree print. Instead of just finding some super cute finds for each trend, I picked out a handful of each - ALL under $50!!! They're true budget buys because every store has every good reason to mark trending items up, but these fun pieces are great for the summer - whether it be to wear or to entertain/decorate with - and the best part is they don't break the bank! Bows & Poms:

When you looked at these adorable bow slides, did they remind you of these $90 Sam Edelman slides?? They're nearly IDENTICAL! They also come in quite a few colors and they're $25! My other favorite sandal this season are these embellished slides. They're under $40 and you can't go wrong with a fun and colorful pair of sandals! And for all of you mamas with little girls, HERE are a nearly identical pair so you can twin with your little(s)!
Lovely Lemons:

Lemons are my newest obsession - I LOVE them and they remind me of Southern Italy, so it's a win-win in my book. ;) The bold palm print on these shorts (#4) also come in two different tops and a skirt - it screams Italy to me! I love the print and it's even prettier in person. I also just came across this top (#6) and immediately added it to my cart and proceeded to checkout, ha! I'm so excited about how pretty it'll look with a pair of white jeans this summer. Now this adorable bandana/scarf (#5) is $12.50 (!!!) and while it'd be super cute as a bandana, I have my eyes on it as a bag accessory! It dresses up a bag for the summer and you can't beat that price!
Cacti & Flamingos:

Who doesn't love cactus ANYTHING lately and pretty, pink flamingos?! I grouped these two together because they're both great summer prints. This flamingo pool float is *so* big, it can comfortably fit 2 people and it's my favorite float to lay in the sun on! Changing your door mat may not be something you think of often, but when you do, you end up with an adorable outdoor accent piece like this door mat! It's $12, can't beat it!
Perfect Pineapples:

My love for pineapples is definitely no secret; last summer I was scouring stores for pineapple anything and my mom kept telling me to be patient because they'd be everywhere soon enough... Well she was right! They're everywhere and I am SO not complaining. My current favorite pineapple find are these book ends, AKA the perfect decor piece to spice up a currently boring shelving unit!
Pretty Palm Print:

I feel as though 2-ish years ago, I was buying everything in this print... And now it's back! It's so summery and there's so many ways to style it or even include it in your decor. Who wouldn't want to feel as tropical as you do with this print ALL season long? ;)
