Currently Craving: Transitioning from Summer to Fall

Well, it's officially September! My birthday month, the end of summer and beginning of fall; the true transitioning month season-wise. It's no secret that I'm a total sucker for summer, but I AM still excited for cozy cardigans and cool breezes at night! Between crazy good summer sales, amazing new arrivals and needing new things for a new season, August is a pretty busy shopping month! I mean, when isn't though when you're borderline obsessed with scrolling through pages of new products online? ;) When I put together this round up of my current favorites, I noticed a theme and I'm sure you will too; it just so happens to be super popular for the fall also...

1. Leopard Print Flats: out of all of the trends this season so far, I have to say I'm pretty darn excited about the leopard print popping up everywhere! I loved it when I was younger and then felt as if I out-grew it... Now it's everywhere and I'm so excited for ALL of it! ;) These flat, open-back mules are a perfect fall splurge.

2. NYY Baseball Cap: I talk allll the time about how big of a Yankees fan I am, and you probably see on my Instagram stories that I go to the games every chance I can get! Baseball caps make for a cute accessory for an athleisure-wear outfit or when you don't feel like doing your hair. ;)

3. Blush Pink Lace Top: every time I see a lace top, I buy it. I'm addicted to lace tops and how dainty and classy they are! This is lace AND the most perfect shade of blush, so it's a win-win. I think it'll be perfect for now, when the weather is still warm and in the cooler months with a cardigan - AND in the spring and summer! It's the perfect year-round top and it's extremely flattering for all body types.

4. Gold Tory Burch Link Bracelet: this bracelet caught my eye a few months ago and I have LOVED it ever since. I've been considering buying it, and now I am more than ever as a gift to myself and to my younger sister. She's starting college next week which is SO bittersweet for me, and even though she's just over an hour and a half away and I'll see her a TON, I wanted to get something for both of us that reminds each of us of each other. I'm thinking of making this bracelet just that! It's so beautiful!

5. St. Tropez Self Tanner: does anyone else just feel so much prettier when they're tan?! There's just something about having a tan/natural glow! Now that summer is (sadly) ending, that means less sun time but the glow doesn't have to end - this tanner works SO GOOD. It's a little pricier and I know there's a couple of really great drugstore ones, but this one really works so well. It doesn't streak and is extremely natural. It smells amazing also!

6. Blush Druzy Tassel Earrings ℅: these are the most dainty, beautiful tassel earrings I have ever owned! They come in 4 colors and they're perfect to match all of the beautiful, blush buys this fall.

7. Burgundy Suede/Leather Kate Spade Shoulder Bag: oh goodness, this bag gives me all of the heart eyes! My jaw dropped when I saw it - the color is absolutely stunning. Hello fall/winter 2017 it-bag!

8. Gold/Black Drop Earrings ℅: the gold detailing on these sold me! They're super light (my sensitive ears need that!) but make a fun statement - AKA the perfect earrings! 9. Black Faced Marc Jacobs Watch: I first saw this watch during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I went back and forth about it, and decided not to get it. Now that the Labor Day sales are beginning to pop up, it's 50% off!! I love the black face to it, it's so classy and beautiful.

10. Burgundy Embellished Quilt: never have I seen a comforter/quilt in SUCH a beautiful color before! Normally I lean toward lighter, simpler bedding but this is so bold and beautiful for fall and winter! It also comes in a gorgeous navy, gray and my other favorite - stark white, which would be ideal for spring and summer. Can you ever have too many comforters? Asking for a friend...

11. Off-White Fringe Pull-Over: if I had to pick one fall and winter staple for any wardrobe, it'd be cozy sweaters and cardigans like this one! I live in them and to be honest, I'm not sure why I bother buying anything else that time of year, ha! If you could feel how soft this was, you'd undoubtedly want 10 of them.

12. Gray Suede Loafer Mules: I cannot stop buying loafers/mules like this right now - anyone else?! There's so many different styles and they're great for casual looks or more dressed up outfits. They're versatile and with how popular they are right now, there's bound to be at least one (or 31) pairs that are perfect for you/what you're looking for.
