26 Bold Buys to Celebrate the Pantone Color of the Year: Ultra Violet

The 2018 Pantone Color of the Year is Ultra Violet! It's so bright, pretty and different - I never really have thought about wearing/buying ALL of the purple things but now that I've looked around and have seen how many pretty violet finds there are, I'm kind of loving it! Pops of purple here and there have always been fun to have, but this violet shade is a whole new game. Here's 26 pieces to consider buying if you want to shop the trends! 1. Ruffle Blouse: this is one of my favorite blouses - it comes in a ton of colors and I love that you can dress it up or down.

2. Violet Block Heels: we all need these. End of story.

3. Patterned MacBook Case: this is one of the most protective MacBook cases I've ever used and it's under $15!

4. Essie Gel Polish: I talk a lot about how much I love the Essie Gel Couture line - it's my go-to between manicures and it lasts so long! This shade is called Turn 'n Pose and it's one of those shades that'd be great year round.

5. Silicone Utensil Set: something practical and fun in the color of the year!

6. Fold-over Card Case: I LOVE card cases. I use them far more than I use wallets; they're slim, compact and make everything easier. This is such a beautiful shade for a card case - it'd be a great gift!

7. 'Not Without my Coffee' Mug: if you take your coffee/tea on-the-go (or if you just have a coffee mug obsession #heyithappens), get this. Too cute to pass up!

8. Beats Headphones: I've always been pretty skeptical about Beats - I figured they couldn't be that much better than any other pair of headphones... But I was SO wrong. They are incredible and worth every cent! I'm kind of wishing I had them in this color too!

9. Gemstone Ring: this is a David Yurman piece so it's pricier, but I'm a firm believe in treating yourself and having nice things in life. ;)

10. Tunic Sweater: another top that comes in 97 (not really, but close enough) colors and is extremely versatile! It has a high-low detail and the sleeve length is perfect to layer with a cute plaid/flannel top, or to wear alone in the spring as the temperatures begin to *finally* rise above freezing. But seriously, when is that going to happen?! Hurry up, spring!

11. Space Saving Hangers: I buy these in bulk in a pretty pink shade, but I'm starting to think I should get different colors to further color-code my closet. Do I have time to do that? Nope - will I anyway? Probably! Ha! ...But really, that'd be cute wouldn't it?

13. Pom Pom Heels: in LOVE with these! Something about them... Just so fun!

14. Butter London Nail Polish: this polish was actually made for the Pantone color of the year -- too pretty!

15. Knit Beanie: this is on major sale right now and I love the hint of blue in it! It's a must for this cold weather.

16. Cozy Pullover: lately, all I want to wear is cozy things that I can layer and that'll keep me warm! I blame that on the cold weather, but I really can't complain - cozy cute finds this season are the best!

17. Gemstone Beaded Bracelet: this comes in all of the different birthstone shades - such a great gift idea for anyone, any time!

18. H2O+ Hand Cream: I've been using this intensive hand cream for just about a month now... Stay tuned for full results in a post coming soon, but long story short - I LOVE it. It's $10, isn't at all greasy (BLESS) and smells incredible.

19. Three-wick Jar Candle: the pattern on this candle's jar sold me!

20. Travel Water Bottle: this is one of my favorites to use during workouts and just to get me to drink even more water! I love the color, so pretty and fun - who doesn't want need a fun water bottle??

21. Fitbit Charge 2: a must have if you're trying to track your activity more this year! The sleep pattern tracker is the best feature, IMO.

22. Patagonia Half-zip Fleece Pullover: I know how popular these have been lately, but for good reason - promise! They're SO cozy and fit like a glove. They're great quality too and worth the price!

23. Gemstone Stud Earrings: these are a fun take on a simple pair of stud earrings - so many colors to chose from too!

24. Purple Two-tone Ray-Bans: another thing I tend to hoard... LOL. I love aviator sunnies and this two-tone purple shade is next on my list!

25. YSL Lipstick #19: I'll admit this is a color way out of my comfort zone for lipstick, but I could see it being very pretty!

26. Nike Air Sneakers: I've begun hoarding sneakers. I can't find any room in my closet, but I can't stop buying them! Speaking of which, I don't have a purple pair (yet)... ;)
