Currently Craving: January Buys + On My Wishlist

Obsessed with my new nail color is an understatement! (see below for more details ;) But, can we talk about the fact that January is OVER?! This month always drags and feels like it's 7 weeks long... And now we're getting closer to spring, warmth, sunshine and I can't wait! We're weeks away from MLB's spring training, a month from spring break and Celeb Big Brother starts next week (whose watching?!). Baby steps to summer! ;) This month's Currently Craving is filled with colorful pastels, things I'm trying/just bought and things on my wish list - there's a lot this month!

1. Colorblock Shoulder Bag: you know how there's always an "it" bag, or a bag that you have your eyes on each season? It can't be just me... LOL. Anyway, this is that bag for me for this spring! I love the pastel colors AND if you order it here you can get the tag monogrammed! It's an adorable size (perfect for travel!) and also comes in a mini backpack version.

2. Knotted Tassel Earrings ℅: these earrings are on sale for $10 (!!) and come in this pretty mint color, a blush pink and cobalt blue. They make such a statement and you would not even believe how lightweight they are - you've probably seen me talk before about how sensitive my ears are, so heavy earrings (no matter how cute they are...) never work for me. These are so fun to dress an outfit up with!

3. Tortoise Sunnies: $15 for sunglasses that look SO cute on, and are a great dupe for these Celine sunglasses that are $400? YES! I love finding dupes for expensive designer items (see the best winter accessories and their designer counterparts here!); it's always good to have options! In the summer especially, I stock up on sunnies that fit my face well - you never have to worry about losing a $15 pair of sunglasses!

4. Pink Tassel Pillow: one of the things I look forward to a new season for most is changing out throw pillows... I'm fully aware how strange that sounds but new pillows give a room a whole new look!

5. Days of the Week Tee: this is a must have - look closely at how all of the days of the week are written! ;) It's $16.99 and there's almost always a sale going on.

6. Perfect Match Gel Polish: this is the polish I just got my nails done with and I LOVE it. I went in wanting a marshmallow-white with a blue undertone, and this is just that. It's gel polish, it's called Chillin' and it's the perfect not-so-white-white.

7. Floral Slip-on Sneakers: by this point it's pretty obvious that I have MAJOR spring fever... These cute slip-on sneakers are only $20 and they come in SO many other fun patterns too!

8. Fiercely You: I just started reading this book, and it is *so* good so far. If you're an entrepreneur in any way and hold your Faith close, you will love it. I can't critique it too much just yet since I just started it, but it was highly recommended and so far I think it'll be one that gets re-read pretty often!

9. Tie-Dye Ombré Pullover: any time I see an ombré anything, I fall in love and likely will buy it. This pullover is warm and cozy but also is light enough to wear in the spring months!

10. Travel Backpack: this is going to be my new favorite travel bag, I can already tell! I ordered it in this peach color and what sold me on getting it is the trolley pass-through on the back - you can stick it on top of your luggage if you don't want to carry it! Bags that have that feature are ideal for travel; you'll never feel like you're forgetting something in an airport again! I know we've all been there done that...

11. Marble Notebook: if I didn't write things down, I would be a total, disorganized flustered mess. Even if I write things down in my phone I still need a physical copy of just about anything! I go through notebooks really quickly, and I just bought a few of these to keep on my desk - they're not too big either so they fit in your handbag if you need to take it around with you.

12. Celestial Constellation Necklace: I bought this necklace during Christmas time for my sister and I and we both wear them nearly every day! They're so dainty and pretty on your neck. They've been going in and out of stock for a few weeks, but if yours isn't in stock you can get a super similar version here - just as beautiful! They make for awesome gift ideas; you'll want one for yourself too!

13. La Mer Moisturizer: ok. This is a doozy of a product... I know a lot of people swear by this moisturizer, but the price makes my jaw drop every time I look at it! I got a couple of samples in a Nordstrom order a few weeks ago, so when I saw them I decided I'd give them a try... I've been using it every morning and night for almost two weeks now, and I fully understand why people love it and still buy it despite the hefty price tag for a beauty product.

My rational (kind of... still can't pull the trigger though!) is that even with the smallest jar, a little bit goes a VERY long way. I have two, small sample sizes of it and it's lasted me almost 14 days. AND I've used it twice per day. It's totally fragrance free, but still has a very fresh and clean smell. The smallest jar is $85 and although it's a VERY small size, that may be worth it... these cold winter months make us do crazy things! ;) But I'd love to know if you've used this La Mer moisturizer and your thoughts on it - it has worked so well and I don't know how to stop myself from buying it! Ha!

14. White Peach Eye Shadow Palette: this palette came out a few weeks ago and it's quickly become one of my favorites. The shades are so beautiful and there's so many looks you can create with them!

15. Colorful Vase: I always have fresh flowers (from Trader Joe's, duh!) in my house - especially in the winter months, I need something to brighten things up! This vase is simply stunning, the colors together are so perfectly placed!

16. 'Like a Boss' Mug: because you should never go a day without feeling like a total boss! ;) Plus, it's only $5!

17. Scalloped Sandals: the cutest, happy-medium between a pair of heels and a pair of flats! The mini heel makes them great for daily wear and you can dress them up for night time. There's so many colors to choose from but I can't stop pulling up these pink ones - they may just be THE perfect spring shoes ever! I can always wear them around the house until it's warm enough out right? ;)

18. Avocado Coconut Candle: I saw this candle debut on Instagram last week, so when I went to the mall this past weekend the first thing I did was march into Bath & Body Works to smell it! LOL. It smells fresh and clean - it's perfect for your kitchen or even bathroom.
