Save vs Splurge: Fall 2018 Must Haves

Where there's a hot new trend each season, there's likely a dupe for it! I'm all for a good splurge and will always pick quality > price but there's always some really great, less expensive options for the seasons hottest buys. My very favorite out of everything here is the bucket bag dupe. I'm a sucker for Kate Spade bags and will always save to splurge on a handbag once in a while, but when two designer bags are so similar but so different in price, you have to appreciate the price gap! I remember being in middle school and LIVING for flared jeans. They were the best invention ever and I loved them and now they're back! Isn't it so crazy how trends repeat themselves?! Jeans are always something to spend a little more on because the quality really does differ, but I swear by Old Navy jeans - they are SO good and so affordable. They wear so well for such a long time! These Old Navy flare jeans are $29, vs. this pair that are $238 - so similar!
NARS is one of my very favorite beauty brands and when you're buying beauty, you should always go for quality! I looove their velvet lip crayons - especially for fall - and I'm happy to report that this $8 lip color is nearly identical to the NARS version, in color and in formula! If you're unsure of the color or just don't want to spend too much on a new lip shade, this is the dupe for you! The $8 lip crayon is in the shade "Festival" and the NARS lip crayon is in the shade "Bahamas".
This faux leather jacket is the most perfect and beautiful, versatile piece of clothing you'll own - especially for fall! My favorite part about it is that the hood is removable so you can wear it with for a more casual outfit and remove it to create a whole new look. I actually prefer the faux leather jacket to the real leather jacket - and you'd never guess that it's faux unless you saw the receipt!
