Cheers to the 974 day month also known as January ALMOST being over. Just a few more days - finally! This month always feels never ending and it's on a whole new level if you live somewhere cold! The good news is the sun is starting to set past 5 PM again and spring is in sight. We're getting closer and if you're needing a few ways to get through the rest of the never-ending season of winter, I can't recommend these ideas enough!
I know that I'm 2+ weeks late with December's/the final Currently Craving of 2018, but for good reason - it's all of my favorite and top purchases from 2018 and these are SO good you guys! It took some time to narrow it down to my top 10, but these are my most used/worn/loved things I bought last year and are all 100% items I'd recommend to you all! Best part is everything is still in stock! From clothing to beauty buys to useful must haves, you'll love these!
This year's Pantone Color of the Year is called Living Coral and it's the absolute prettiest shade of peach ever! Last year I searched for the best products in the Color of the Year, which was Ultra Violet (read that post and shop those finds here!) and I've been so excited to put something similar together for this year's color because it's one of my favorite shades ever. My mom is absolutely obsessed with anything and everything in this shade of peach - I kid you not, she has a closet FILLED with peach/coral colored clothing, shoes and probably 15+ peach nail polishes, lol! Needless to say she's a bit excited about this year's Color of the Year. ;)
From home decor to clothes and accessories, here's everything you could possibly want in this year's beautiful and vibrant color!
Happy 2019! Wow, it's so crazy to be saying that and I hate to be the one to remind you, but 2009 was 10 years ago. Take a moment to realize where you were in 2009... What even is happening?!?! When I realized that it's been a D E C A D E since '09 on New Year's Eve, I about spit my drink out. Anyway, I always love and look forward to the holiday season but there's something SO refreshing about the start of a new, 365 day chapter; I know there's some who don't think it's a big deal and stand by saying that you can make changes and goals whenever, regardless of the time of year. True, but the way I see January 1st is a true, fresh new page to write a new story on.
I always like to spend the last few days of the year/first week or two of the new year to reflect on the past year. The positives, what I can and want to work on and even the negatives and how to bounce back or learn something from them. I obviously love to write, so I spend time writing out all of my goals (both short-term and long-term) and split them up by personal goals and business goals. I get detailed in my planner with each, and then have a more simplistic bullet-point list somewhere that I can see every. single. day. That's always my #1 tip when it comes to achieving any type of goal - the more you see it, the more motivated you'll become to be able to check it off! Be it on your bathroom mirror, on the refrigerator or at your desk, let it be something that stands out to you 24/7.
